About Me
Meet the Maker
Hello!
My name is Charity McIlroy and I am the owner of Cm Creations Co. I am based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, I am a 21 year old who loves outdoor activities from skiing to water sports and many more. I also love the look of rustic decor. I wanted to share my interests and ability of writing, painting and all things creative and enabling others to have my work and share in their home!
I became a Christian when I was 9 years old, when I realised that Christ died on the cross for my sins and that this was enough to take my sins away and have a home eternally in heaven. This has been a massive part of my life and I continually serve the Lord each and every day. This is what inspired me to start a small business, it is my opportunity to share Gods word with other christians and share it with others who may not know him yet.
About the brand
The story of Cm Creations Co.
Cm Creations Co. started back in 2018 when I was the age of 15, initially as a hobby, and it has since grown into what it is today. I started out just messing around with wiring and designs and then I saw the opportunity to use it to spread Gods word through gifts, decor etc.
It is a small business based in Ballymena, and I am running things independently at the minute and hope to widen someday down the line. I personally handwrite and paint everything I sell, ensuring each item meets the highest standards. I believe this attention to detail and personalisation sets me apart, making my products ideal for those looking for a unique, heartfelt gift—especially during the Christmas season, Easter, Birthdays or even just a gift for yourself.
The slogan “handcrafted with love” is a personal touch to the brand. The biblical name of ‘Charity’ means LOVE, and everything you see on this page is handcrafted by me and with an extra bit of love.
My range includes home decor items like wooden blocks, frames, canvas hanging signs, and more, all of which are customisable and one-of-a-kind. Participating in markets over the years has reminded me why I invest so much time and effort into each piece, from sanding and staining to writing and perfecting the final product. The energy and excitement of Christmas Markets in the past, in particular, highlighted the joy people feel when receiving something personal—whether it's their favourite verse, phrase, or even just their name, hand-painted just for them.
